MISSION STATEMENT...This is the purpose for why we exist!  

We exist to glorify God by making disciples and moving them to Christlikeness.

OUR CORE VALUES...These are the things that are important to us!

1.        God's Word

We believe that the Bible is God's Word and is the ultimate source of truth, the foundation of all doctrine, and has the power, authority, and relevance to change lives.  We believe that we show our love for God by obedience to God's Word and loving one another.  As individuals and as a church we will strive to grow in our knowledge of the Word and we deeply value the clear and accurate communication of God's Word.    II Timothy 3:16, Romans 1:16, I John 5:3, & Colossians 1:10

2.        Dependency on God

We hold that all believers should be dependent on God for every aspect of life and all that we do must be rooted in God's Word, have a firm foundation of prayer, and be done to glorify God.    Romans 12:12 & Romans 15:6

3.        Our Concern is for People

We believe that we are to love one another as Christ loves us.  People matter to God so we intentionally seek to build genuine relationships with them, believing that people respond best to Christ's call in their lives when they know others care.    Luke 10:27 & Ephesians 5:1-2

4.        Growth and Maturity

We believe that it is each person's responsibility to fully develop his or her God-given gifts and to mature through corporate and individual prayer, Bible study, and worship to better serve God.  We honor the biblical mandate to nurture a spirit of love in the lives of God's people and the corporate life of the Church and we do this in part by helping people become spiritually mature disciples of Jesus Christ.    Ephesians 4:13, I Corinthians 12:27, Psalm 119:11, Hebrews 6:1 & Titus 2:11-12

5.        Outreach

We believe that it is God's will for each of us to intentionally share the love of God and the good news of Jesus Christ with those in our community, our region and the world.    Matthew 28:19, II Peter 3:9 & II Peter 3:15

6.        Leadership

We believe that God works through and empowers servant leaders in all levels of service based on their spiritual gifts.   Deuteronomy 10:12, Acts 6:4 & Ephesians 4:12

7.        Mission Driven

We believe that our God-given church mission and vision must motivate and guide all of our decisions.  Proverbs 19:21

8.        Relevancy in Worship

 We believe that we were created by God to glorify Him through vital worship and obedience.  We believe that in our worship style we must be flexible and adaptable in both our methods and our activities in order to achieve our mission and vision.     Psalm 86:12

9.        Fellowship and Hospitality

We believe that God's Word requires that we practice hospitality with joy, fellowship and service, modeled on our relationship and fellowship with God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.  Romans 12:13, I Peter 4:9, I John 1:3-4 & Acts 2:42

10.      Stewardship

We believe that God is the source of all that we have and that He desires us to be responsible and to give generously to His work.    II Corinthians 9:6-13, Malachi 3:8-10 & Luke 16:10
