What to Expect at Bethel

We invite you to join us for our Sunday morning worship service which begins at 9:30 AM and our Connection Hour which begins at 11:00AM to experience what we’re about.

How should I dress?

We welcome you to dress comfortably and be yourself. We believe that God is more interested in your heart than how you dress.  Most people at Bethel dress somewhat casually while others do dress up. Jeans are certainly fine as well as shorts during warmer weather.

What do I do when I get there?

When you walk in the front doors a friendly person will greet you, answer any questions that you might have, and direct you towards the sanctuary where you will be given a worship folder (a progam).

What happens during the worship service?

Our worship service begins at 9:30 AM, but we encourage you to come a few minutes early as the worship band begins playing at 9:25 AM.  The worship folder that you received will give you an idea of what to expect during our time together. Please take a moment to complete the Connection Link (tan card) that you will find in your folder and place it in the offering plate later in the service. The card is a way for us to learn a little bit about you and an opportunity for you to express any needs you have that we might be able to meet.

We want you to enjoy your time with us so we encourage you to participate as much or as little as you like. You can meet new people seated around you or choose to remain anonymous at first if you prefer. We’ll give some simple instructions throughout the service to let you know when to stand or sit. During our time together we will sing, pray, read Scripture, laugh, and hear a message that is both biblical and practical. The service usually lasts about 75 minutes. We would love for you to hang around for a little while after the service. Refreshments are available each week, and our people love to spend time meeting newcomers and catching up with friends.

Can I bring my child?

We welcome children of all ages at Bethel. There is infant and toddler child care available during the service as well as Children's Church for children ages 3 through Kindergarten.

Do you have Sunday school?

We have Sunday school which we call, “Connection Hour”, following the Sunday morning service from 11:00 AM – Noon for all ages.  Our children’s classes are divided by age while our adult equipping classes are divided by topic.  Information on topics and where classes meet can be found at the Welcome Center located in the foyer.
