June 28

The purpose of this digital liturgy is to walk yourself, your family, or a small group through a simple, gospel-based worship liturgy from where ever you are. It will feature some of the elements we would normally have during a Sunday Gathering. Pick someone to do the prayers and readings or take turns…the main thing is to participate in, and renew your heart in worship.

Call to Worship
This week’s call to worship really sets the stage for John’s second letter. 1 John 1:5–9

Walking in the Light

[5] This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. [6] If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. [7] But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. [8] If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. [9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. OFFERING

At Bethel, we see offering as an act of worship. We know the way in which God has purposed the local church to be a light of the gospel. May we trust in the Lord’s provision during this time, for our individual needs and also for our church’s needs. You can give online at bethelfree.com/give or by mail.
