Sunday, November 22, 2020

Hope your week has gone well! This Sunday there will be an open forum to discuss the impact of COVID-19 at 11:00am. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. More information below. As we head into Thanksgiving, we will examine one of the most important yet often misunderstood aspects of God’s power and work: Grace. How do we rely upon the Grace of God? In what ways do people misunderstand or take God’s Grace for granted? Join us this Sunday, November 22 as we look at 2 Thessalonians 2:13-3:5, “To Live By Grace,” part 14 in our fall series Build to Last.”

COVID-19 is impacting our lives inside and outside the church. We would like to hold two Forums, one in-person and one over Zoom, to discuss the impact COVID-19 is having on us. We will explore ways in which we can encourage one another in love and good deeds in the weeks and months ahead. Come share your thoughts and ideas. We will close in a time of prayer. All are welcome.

In-Person – Sunday, November 22 at 11:00am in the Sanctuary
Zoom – Monday, November 23 at 7:30pm (email Pastor Bryce at for the Zoom Link)

Here are the Forum Questions:
1. How has COVID-19 impacted your life outside of the church?
2. How has COVID-19 impacted your life within the church?
3. What has God been showing and teaching you through COVID-19?
4. How might COVID-19 strengthen us individually and as a church family for the future?
5. What are some ideas for encouraging and spurring one another on in the weeks and months ahead?

It has been a tough year, but we have so much to be thankful for! We would like to take the month of November to express our thankfulness for all that God has done and blessed us with. We invite everyone to write down on a leaf ornament what you’re most thankful for, then place it on the Thanksgiving Tree in the sanctuary.

There will be Sunday School this Sunday for all ages. We are examining the option of Children’s Worship (during the Service) for the month of December to provide an age-friendly environment for ages 3 through 2nd grade. The theme for learning and activities and music will be Christmas! 3rd-6th Grade will stay in the Worship Service. The Sunday School hour may be suspended during that time due to COVID. If you are willing to help with Children’s Worship, please let us know.
